Politics & Impact

Incubated in 2018, the labour research vertical at CIS leads empirical worker-centred research and engagement on informal/ised labour and digitalisation in India. Our work interrogates structural and quotidian aspects of digitally-mediated labour through a feminist and worker-centred lens of power and inequality.
